Hypnotherapy

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a modern type of talking therapy that uses solution focused questioning techniques combined with trance, helping people to make positive, lasting changes in their lives.

A little about me…

Having previously worked full time in the corporate world, I regularly volunteered as a counsellor for over 10 years.

I mainly worked with victim support, and amazing organisations like Centre 33.

When I was made redundant in 2022, I saw it as an opportunity to do more of, what I consider, my soul’s purpose.

So I retrained as hypnotherapist in 2023 and am blessed to be working with many incredible humans to help them work through issues they face, allowing them to reach their full potential.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Rach

Rebecca’s Story

What is Hypnotherapy?

  • What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?

Unlike other forms of Hypnotherapy, Solution Focused Hypnotherapy uses a specific structure, which incorporates several aspects of Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and combines these with an understanding of how the brain works, in combination with using trance. Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is also different because it doesn’t require the therapist to ‘dig into’ a person’s past, as this is not deemed necessary to help the person formulate plans and best hopes for how they want to move forward in their lives in the future.

  • Who is it for?

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy can provide monumental change to some of the most common and arduous issues that we all face. It can relieve suffering of Stress, Anxiety, Low Mood and Depression, Phobias, Confidence, and OCD, amongst other complaints.

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy has helped countless numbers of people to change their lives for the better.

  • Do you work with Children?

Yes! As long as they are 8 years old or above.

A parent/guardian must attend the initial consultation with the child and sign their consent.

For the sessions, the parent/guardian can wait in the car or go for a walk near by.

I have a full enhanced DBS check and insurance.

Resident sausage dogs Eric & Betty are a big hit with children (adults too), as they lighten any intensity.

“Throughout my sessions I felt cared for, listened to and gently guided. Rachael is so knowledgeable and able to explain the science behind my anxiety. This, in turn, has helped me to understand my behaviours and ways in which to retrain my brain.”
